Data security with commvault technology

3Cime Technology boasts another illustrious collaboration: the one with Banca di Bologna, addressed to the Bolognese company for the creation of a Disaster Recovery service and data backup.

The Disaster Recovery project is based on Commvault technology, between the Fastweb cloud and the Bologna data center. Specifically, it included the complete revision of the on-premise data backup service at Fastweb and the activation of a new Disaster Recovery system at the Bologna data center. Thanks to Commvault technology it was possible to make a copy of the data locally on dedicated NAS (Network Attached Storage) and in parallel to maintain, as requested by the Customer, also a copy on the tape library still in use.

As for the implementation of the Disaster Recovery service, thanks to the communication system between the Commvault media agents it was possible to make a first copy of the data and the subsequent incremental data at the headquarters of the data center in Bologna, which provides all the infrastructure to be able to start again in minimum times.
